Many people feel that the Three Angel Messages in Revelation are the most important in the entire Bible!  I think that reasoning is based on the fact that once these messages are completed, Jesus returns, and they are the ‘last call,’ the final warning. 

 

Right after the 7th Trumpet, prior to Jesus appearing, you will find the Three Angel Messages in Chapter 14.  The first Angel is carrying the eternal Good News to proclaim to the people who belong to this world—to every nation, tribe, language, and people. "Fear God," he shouted. "Give glory to him. For the time has come when he will sit as judge. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all the springs of water."  The keys points in this message is that the Good News of the Gospel is to be preached to all people of this world, every single person will be made aware of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  The 2nd point is that we should worship only God the creator of all things.  Many believe that the mark of the Beast will come down to who we worship, so that is why the 1st Angel proclaims that we are to worship only God the Creator.

 

The 2nd Angel follows with, "Babylon is fallen—that great city is fallen—because she made all the nations of the world drink the wine of her passionate immorality."   Again in Chapter 18 there is the verse that says Babylon has fallen, come out of her my people.  This refers to the fact that God has His children in many different denominations, churches, religions, systems, etc., that aren’t Christian based and He wants them to come home.  A good example might be most Sunday Worship churches.  If Sabbath Worship is the only true Christian worship, this Angel’s message could be for Christians to remember the Sabbath and keep it Holy.  God did carve that Commandment into the stone tablet.  But when I look at great Sunday preachers like for instance, Billy Graham, and the way many were raised with Sunday Church, my mind is wrestling with this.   

 

The 3rd Angel’s Message, "Anyone who worships the beast and his statue or who accepts his mark on the forehead or on the hand must drink the wine of God's anger. It has been poured full strength into God's cup of wrath. And they will be tormented with fire and burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and the Lamb.  The smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever, and they will have no relief day or night, for they have worshiped the beast and his statue and have accepted the mark of his name."   So at this point in Earth’s time we will know who the beast is and what the false system is or whatever it is that we are not supposed to worship.  Apparently it is going to be forced worship, so whatever we are being forced to do or worship, is exactly what we shouldn’t worship because it will cause us to have the mark of the beast.

 

Following the Three Angel Messages we have a blessing for the saints who patiently persevere with faith in Jesus throughout this 31/2 years of tribulation.
