Because of His Unfailing Love

That is why God had a simple plan to save mankind before the world began.  We can't begin to imagine a God that was before all time, planning our salvation, before He even created us.  He is all knowing and is ever-existing, from before time-to-eternity, He was and is and will be.  And we are included in His plan.  Luke 19:10, “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost”

Contrary to some Religion's belief's, God's plan is not all inclusive, not everyone is going to be there.  That free-will gift that God gave everyone will keep many out of God's presence, eternally, by their choice, not God's.  That is unfortunate to because the plan for salvation is very simple, all it requires is your heart.   Many people are convinced that their balance of "being good" throughout their lives will earn them entry into Heaven.   Whenever I see those sidewalk preachers, Kirk Cameron, Ray Comfort, interviewing people, I can't believe how many people actually feel that way.   There are many that believe that when they die.....that is all there is!   No heaven or hell, they just stop existing.  I applaud Kirk and Ray and all others who are opening the eyes of so many that are lost without the Good News.

It clearly states in the Bible that our good works are like filthy rags, (that won't get you far at all).  Furthermore, it isn't possible to keep the Ten Commandments, we have all failed there.  That is why God in His infinite Wisdom, had a plan already in place.  In the Bible God's plan says that, "ye must be born again", John 3:7.   For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.  Salvation is a gift from a gracious God who has unfailing love for us.

God's plan from the Book of Titus states, Titus 3:5-7, he saved us, not by works of righteousness that we have done but on the basis of his mercy, through the washing of the new birth and the renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us in full measure through Jesus Christ our Savior. 7 And so, since we have been justified by his grace, we become heirs with the confident expectation of eternal life.  Let that sink in a little; we become heirs

After we are born again, the journey has just begun.  The Holy Spirit will begin a work in you that is an ongoing work in progress.  You will need to study God's word to help build a solid foundation for your increased faith in Christ.   It states in Romans 3:21, This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe."   So once you are born again and put your faith and trust in Jesus for your salvation, the Holy Spirit will perfect the work of righteousness to prepare you for the Kingdom of God as an heir.
